Who We Are

Our Mission

“Music is magical because it reaches multiple levels of neurostimulation simultaneously.”                                                -Don Campbell, Classical Musician, Author and Educator

Since 1995, our school has been providing music education to the Vaughan Community and has established a reputation for high quality teaching. Over the years most of the Academy’s students have graduated with advanced skills in piano, singing, violin, guitar, woodwinds and theory.

We offer a variety of programs from private lessons to group lessons for all ages and levels.

At Vaughan Academy, we provide a safe, welcoming and exciting learning environment for all students. Our highly skilled and dedicated instructors adapt their lessons to meet diverse learning styles and attempt to motivate each student to be successful. They accomplish this through continuous communication with parents, inspiring students to do their best and demonstrating that being able to learn music is not only fun and enjoyable but a wonderful gift!

Thanks to experienced and professional staff, students continue to receive high marks at RCM examinations and win awards at various festivals and competitions.

Our mission is to impart the skills required to develop excellent musicians while cultivating a love for music making it an important part of our lives and sharing with others.

Why Us?

All of our teachers are highly qualified and have obtained university degrees with various specialties. Most teachers are also active performers. All of our teachers are registered with RCM.

Every year we offer and prepared students for two music recitals during the Christmas and Summer Period. We also offer an annual senior recital.

We encourage our students to participate in many festivals, competitions and auditions throughout the Toronto and other areas

to help build self-confidence and to acquire more extra-curricular experience.

It is a scientific fact that music relieves and reduces many symptoms of disabilities. We provide customized class structure for students with special needs to help them succeed in their future pathways while demonstrating the unlimited human potential through music.

We provide all necessary resources to help your child receive a grade 11 and grade 12 high school credit. This will help your child to receive substantial scholarships from all university programs in Canada.

We work diligently to help your children receive an ARCT Diploma from the Royal Conservatory. Having this goal will give you the opportunity to have  an internationally recognized professional diploma from a Canadian institution – The Royal Conservatory of Music.

We help students prepare for university music programs with customized classes.

Every effort is made to meet each student’s needs, and to match the student’s comfort level with the most appropriate instructor. We want every student to find their best matched teacher for an optimal musical learning experience.
